Chapter 284: Chapter 284 - Symbiotic Armor

Chapter 284: - Symbiotic Armor

Broken nodded, his eyes tracing the length of the greatsword, marveling at its impressive size and menacing presence.

But there was still one thing that made Broken curious: was the weapon truly just a normal weapon, or could it be used by others?

He approached the golem and reached out to touch the blade.

"What are you doing?" Freya asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Checking the greatsword," he said simply.Nôv(el)B\\\\jnn

After checking, he confirmed that it was indeed a normal weapon, but with high physical attack stats, strength, and constitution values. It had no additional skills attached.

"That greatsword is actually deconstructed from its overall body form," Freya explained. "It will reconstruct itself if it gets damaged. That\'s the cool thing about it."

"Understood," Broken replied, nodding thoughtfully.

Freya then continued. "The golem also boasts superior armor. You can rely on it to withstand prolonged battles, as the armor adds significant sturdiness compared to other golems that only rely on their bare bodies."

"Yes," Broken nodded. "The armor seems pretty cool too."

Pausing for a moment, she then added, "But, considering this golem is Tier 5, it has the ability to reconstruct the damaged body parts. However, this isn\'t without its downsides."

"And what are those consequences?"

"The golem core will be consumed continuously until it runs out of power," Freya explained. "Once depleted, you\'ll need a fresh golem core to keep it operational."

Broken nodded thoughtfully. He only had three golem cores in his possession.

"If you plan on using this golem frequently and intensively, you\'ll need to figure out a way to acquire more golem cores quickly," Freya advised.

"Can I buy them, Freya?"

"I\'m sure you can," she replied. "But considering the power level of this golem, it might be useless to purchase cores at an auction. Most of the ones available there are of a lower tier and likely won\'t provide adequate power for your golem. You\'ll need to find a high-level golem creator or, as a last resort, make them yourself."

Broken nodded again, contemplating his options. He did have a ticket from King Elandorr\'s quest that could potentially earn him a golem class, opening another avenue to create what he needed.

But he hesitated to use the ticket just yet. He wanted to maximize everything he already possessed before considering any new acquisitions.

Gaining a new class would mean additional time and effort to master it, whereas his blacksmith class still held vast potential. He needed to forge a few more Legendary-grade items before he could upgrade his class to a Legendary-grade blacksmith. Until that goal was achieved, he decided to put off any plans to acquire new classes or significant changes.

"Let\'s hope Blackthorn won\'t have to work too hard for now," he mused. "I\'ll rely on the knights to handle simpler tasks. This golem will only be deployed when a major threat looms."

"Agreed," Freya responded casually.

"What about its utility capabilities?"

"I\'m not entirely sure," she admitted. "You\'ll need to check its skills to determine those."

Broken smiled, feeling a renewed sense of anticipation. It was time to explore the skills of his new golem.

[Name: Blackthorn - Shadowbark Titan]

[Grade: Legendary]

[Tier: 5]

[Level: 225]

[Skills - 4]

[Abyssal Cleave (Active Skill): Swings the massive greatsword, delivering a powerful blow that can cut through dimensions, creating a rift that damages anything in its path.] [Tendrils of the Abyss (Conditional Passive Skill): The golem\'s presence causes dark, shadowy vines to sprout from the ground around it when enemies are nearby. These vines root and ensnare enemies, significantly reducing their movement speed and attacking them with the shadow vines.]

[Abyssal Scorpion Tail (Conditional Active Skill): The golem transforms part of its body, growing a massive, articulated scorpion tail infused with shadow energy. This deadly appendage can be used for powerful melee attacks and has the capability to inject a lethal poison that weakens and damages enemies over time.]

[Symbiotic Armor (Conditional Active Skill): The golem\'s body can open up to allow a person to step inside, effectively becoming a living suit of armor. This symbiotic relationship enhances both the golem\'s and the person\'s abilities, combining their strengths and skills for superior combat performance.]

The first skill, Abyssal Cleave, seemed incredibly focused on dealing massive damage. It harnessed the Dimensional Element of the Moonstone to create a devastatingly powerful attack. According to the description, the golem could deliver a mighty blow that would carve a rift, ravaging anything caught in its path.

Broken gulped as he read the details, then shared the skill information with Freya.

"Damn, Broken, your golem is seriously overpowered. This is one of the most incredible skills I\'ve ever seen. It uses the moonstones remarkably well."

Broken chuckled at her reaction. "Imagine if the Moonvine Knuckles had a skill like this. It would be even more extraordinary."

"But," Freya interjected, "the mana usage and cooldown aren\'t clearly specified. I suspect it will consume a lot of stamina, so I suggest setting this skill to be used only when absolutely

necessary."

"Understood," Broken agreed, nodding thoughtfully.

The next skill, Tendrils of the Abyss, reminded Broken of the shadow abilities used by Flauros. However, this skill appeared to be more passive, automatically targeting enemies in the vicinity, unlike Flauros\'s skill, which seemed to be more controllable by its user. Despite its passive nature, Tendrils of the Abyss provided the golem with a significant advantage on the battlefield. The golem could be sent into combat alone, easily handling numerous adversaries due to its substantial damage output and potential for area effect damage.

"The second skill isn\'t as extraordinary as the first," Broken muttered to himself, though he couldn\'t deny the utility of having a golem that could defend itself against multiple opponents at once. Even so, its ability to ensnare and poison enemies made it a formidable

ally in battle.

The third skill, Abyssal Scorpion Tail, caught his attention. The golem could grow a scorpion tail and use it in combat, injecting a deadly poison.

The scorpion tail was clearly connected to the Monster Soul Stone he had used from the Scorched Scorpion, manifesting in this powerful form. Quite satisfying, indeed.

With this, the golem had a plethora of offensive options. It could fight with the greatsword while using the shadow tendrils to disrupt and ensnare nearby enemies. Additionally, it had

the scorpion tail for quick, venomous strikes.

It really was a deadly golem!

And the last skill seemed to be the realization of its Tier 5 upgrade: the golem could allow someone to enter its body and combine their strength and skills. Essentially, the golem could be piloted like a giant robot, controlled from within. Broken was intrigued and eager to try it -out.

"Now you can become Golem Man with this skill, Broken," Freya said with a chuckle. Broken laughed softly. "I think this golem is too perfect for my first one," he said, giggling.

"You could always write a complaint letter and send it to your sugar mommy," she teased,

chuckling.

"Ah, Goddess Akidia. It\'s been a while since I\'ve gotten an email from her," he murmured

quietly.

He grinned and commanded the golem to activate its fourth skill. The chest of the golem opened up, revealing an interior space. Without hesitation, Broken leaped inside and positioned himself in what looked like the interior of a capsule device. Once he settled in, the

armor closed around him.

[Activating Symbiotic Armor. You can now move and utilize the full senses of the Blackthorn - Shadowbark Titan.]

As the notification appeared, Broken suddenly felt a significant shift in his perspective, towering above everything. From his new vantage point, Freya appeared tiny before him.

"Hi, Freya," he rumbled. His voice, now deep and resonant, echoed like that of a colossal

gorilla.

Freya couldn\'t help but laugh. "This is so weird," she said, amused.

Broken bent down, reaching out to pick up Freya\'s small frame, which he could easily hold in

one hand. She laughed even harder, playfully slapping at his massive hand. "What are you doing, Broken? Be more gentle, okay!"

He gently placed Freya on the golem\'s shoulder. "Let\'s go. Free ride to Slumdon Town," he announced, starting to move with the giant golem\'s body.
