Chapter 183: Home!

Since they had limited time, they wanted their house to be as close to the outer wall as possible, and the atmosphere in the outer district was also more to their liking, a bit more lively. Ark didn\'t have the best views of nobles, and neither did the rest of them.

It wasn\'t to the point where they hated all nobles or anything, they just tried to keep their distance if possible, since they had a tendency to create trouble.

Either way, they might not have been able to afford such a nice house in the inner district, so it didn\'t really matter. The house they had bought was meant for a large family, with plenty of rooms for servants as well. Even though it was located in the outer district, it wouldn\'t be surprising if a noble family were to live in it.

With that said, it wasn\'t like they had any servants, and it might\'ve been a little overkill for only the four fo them, but Ark didn\'t really care. He only wanted them to have the best, he wasn\'t concerned about money.

Since they now also had access to a proper kitchen, it would be a shame if they didn\'t use it! With the time they had left, they first decided to walk around the city a little, as well as buy plenty of different ingredients and spices. Since they had finally gotten themselves a new home, Ark was going to go all-out and make plenty of different foods.

It wasn\'t like he was a fantastic cook or anything, but since the food here was pretty primitive, he was sure that he would be able to satisfy the rest of them.

After a long journey, was there anything better than coming home to a homecooked meal? The answer to that question was obviously subjective, but Ark couldn\'t think of anything better for now.

The only downside was that he needed to cook in his human form, but since there was plenty of waiting involved, he spent that time in his wolf form, so he could at least preserve some of his time in his human form.

As the day was coming to an end, they were all tired, and since the next day was probably gonna be pretty eventful, they decided to get a good nights sleep. Thufrat picked one of the larger rooms for himself, whilst the rest of them decided to sleep in the great hall. This room was plenty big for all of them, and it wasn\'t like they could sleep in a regular bed or anything.

Ephine and Atar both fell asleep rather rapidly, whilst Ark laid awake for a while. The fire in the fireplace illuminated most of the dark empty hall, and Ark couldn\'t help but look forward to the next day, it was a good chance to grow stronger after all.

He soon fell asleep himself, and the next day quickly arrived. The morning sun was rather blinding as it landed on them through the large windows of the great hall. As usual, they woke up rather early in the morning, and they decided to not waste any time, since they had some stuff to do after all.

It wasn\'t like they could just enter the dungeon immediately, they had to register as adventurers first. Normal people weren\'t allowed inside the dungeon, to avoid casualties.

The adventurer\'s guild was located quite close to the centre of the outer city, and it didn\'t take longer than 5 minutes to walk there. To their dismay when they arrived, the adventurer\'s guild was full of people, and the line to sign up as an adventurer was pretty long. There were at least 15 people ahead of them in the line.

Fortunately, the process was pretty fast, and they only had to wait for about half an hour before they could sign up.

After that was done, they only had to get to the dungeon, and proceed to level up and fight as much as they wanted. At the moment, they were the lowest rank of adventurers, rank F. Every increase in rank meant a quite significant jump in power, with the highest rank being rank S.

But rank S was impossible for most people to achieve, so many people saw rank A as the highest rank. Though they could do missions to rank up, Ark couldn\'t care less about his rank as an adventurer, as it didn\'t bring him any sort of benefit at all to be a higher rank.

The only benefit it gave him would be in the long run, but Ark didn\'t have time to spare at the moment. With their registration out of the way, they quickly left the bustling city, and headed straight for the Moonlit Caves. Since they had almost used 50 minutes of their time in human forms, Ark, Ephine and Atar travelled to the Moonlit Caves in their wolf forms, whilst Thufrat used his horse.

Since the dungeon was rather close, it only took them about 20 minutes to get there, but that was also because they travelled exceptionally fast.

As they got closer to their destination, they decided to travel in human forms, as they encountered more and more humans on the way. To other humans, their party of 4 looked quite odd, as they only had one horse for some reason, and they had also brought a child. It wasn\'t like a child couldn\'t be an adventurer, but it was very unusual, as most parents would most definitely forbid it.

Not only that, but the age restriction was also 13 years old, so most would just wait a few years until they were considered adults.

Atar wasn\'t actually 13 years old, but since he looked like he was, they just wrote down his age as 13 at the adventurer\'s guild. As they arrived at the dungeon, almost everyone who was present glanced at them. Their party was pretty odd after all. Two young adults, who both looked very captivating, as well as a child and a dwarf.

Most parties usually consisted of about 4 or 5 human adults, so they got a lot of attention. Unwanted attention.

Ark didn\'t appreciate the stares directed at them, especially not the ones that stared dumbfoundedly at Ephine. Thufrat felt a little embarrassed, as he didn\'t expect something like this when they showed up, people would usually choose to look away from him when they saw him, so this was certainly a change of pace.

Atar didn\'t even notice the looks directed at him, he was just fascinated by his surroundings as usual.
