Vol. 4 - Chapter 23 - Incomprehensible thoughts
This was an expected result in a sense. Stella is an Awakened person. Stella has been unstable ever since Gill\'s death. I already know that it will be an unnatural result like this if they choose Stella as one of the representative members.
"Those bastards! They knew it!"
Sieg has been in fits of rage since earlier.
" Calm down a bit"
I urged Sieg, who was shouting to calm down his mind which was at boiling point as his forehead was overflowing with thick blue veins but,
"Shut up! Horus and others ruined the hard work of children filled with blood and sweat you know!? What\'s more, only for another selfish results of adult!!"
He turned back his deathly glare at me.
"Even if that\'s the case, it was the intention of Stella, who is the same student, to end this match. It should be wrong for us to argue about this"
"Dammit!!"
"Besides, our first priority is to work on getting a fair evaluation of the outcome of this match. Am I wrong?"
Sieg groaned for a moment but sat down on the chair and closed his eyes while his arms crossed.
Now, other than G-Class not being able to win the championship, if everything proceeds properly, Mia will be expelled. Although I said that, I have the same opinion as Sieg. I was seething with anger towards the fellow comrade who trampled down on the blood and sweat mixed hard work of students for the convenience of us adults. To be honest, I don\'t have the confidence to keep my calm in front of Caesar and Sylphy right now.
(No, I can\'t speak about other people\'s either...... )
I also ignored the will of Stella and coerced her for student life in the academy.
Recently, Stella\'s weakness has been exposed. Her strong reliance towards me was self-evident from this one incident. That\'s why I wanted her to have an enjoyable lifestyle with a student of the same age and build a relationship with them like the G-class has now.
I am aware that it\'s harsh for her. First of all, she\'s still a 15 year old child. I\'m identical as the only blood-relative for her. There\'s no need to point out how much she must have been hurt to be forcibly separated from me.
However, I can\'t stay beside her for long. After all, I\'m worried about her. I wonder if she will be able to walk with hope in this world without me.
Humans can\'t live alone. Because I deeply comes to realize this fact at this age.
(Dammit! Why did I think of it again!)
Lately, I have been falling into these kinds of incomprehensible thoughts frequently and unconsciously.
I\'m going to leave this world? Does it mean I\'m going to die? I\'m sorry but I am not a prophet and something like fatalism is bullshit.it must be some kind of delusion.
Well whatever, I have to bring the evaluation of Mia and other, the class G to correct path.
According to my estimation, it should be about time for them to move.
I noticed several footsteps approaching closer. A bingo, huh.
The door is violently opened and the mushroom headed professor, Matthew Muru, appears snorting.
Behind him, a group of men and women who appear to be members of the exam\'s executive committee enter the room.
"What are you trying to do Matthew?"
Sieg turns his stern face towards Matthew and ask quietly. Seems like the patience of Sieg has been broken.
"Shirabe Ines Navarro, clear evidence that shows your involvement in unfair conduct in the uniform examination of magic knight academy has been provided to us. Present yourself in the faculty meeting immediately. If you resist 一一"
Matthew raised his right hand and all the executives pointed their respective weapons towards me.
Half of the executives had a faint smile on their face while the other half of them looked as pale as a corpse.
"Don\'t worry, I won\'t go crazy. After all, I\'m also interested in the amazing theory you have formulate"
I stopped Sieg, who wanted to say something with my hand, stood up and presented both of my wrists to the approaching female executive.
"P-Pardon me. Professor Shirabe"
She was so frightened to the point of looking pitiful, and attached special magical restraints to both my wrists.
"Let\'s go Sieg"
"You look like you are having fun! You\'re so selfish, not even caring how much I\'m worried!"
Sieg also stood up with a sharp, poisonous voice and exited from the room while pushing away the executives.
Well, it is now becoming interesting. I can now determine their quality as villains. If they measure up to my standards as scoundrels, I\'ll officially recognize them as my enemies.
But in case they turned to be just scumbag and not even villains, then 一一
